Think of Boosted as a dedicated lane. Discover mixes merit anchors with a fairly rotated launch pool. Featured is a curated sidebar mix.

   Approved → launch window opens

   Your product gets launch visibility (up to 100). A busy week with many approvals lowers the starting amount fairly for everyone.

   Discover rotation

   Up to 17 launch-pool slots rotate by fewest recent list impressions. Merit anchors (28) stay for products with real traction.

   Decay without participation

   Visibility multiplies by ~0.85 per day. After the 14-day window, only merit (votes, comments) keeps you in the feed.

   Refuel by supporting others

   Each vote (+8), comment (+15), or qualified active day (+20) refuels your launches still in the window. A second launch in the same window for one maker starts at half visibility.

   You activate boost

   Spend 50 credits on your product. Boost runs for 24 hours. You receive a notification confirming it is live.

   You enter the Boosted pool

   Your product joins all other active boosts. Up to 5 appear in the Boosted strip at any moment.

   Fair rotation

   When more than 5 products are boosting, slots rotate every 8 seconds while the strip is visible in your browser. Products with fewer impressions in this session are prioritized next.

   Notifications

   We notify you when your product is shown for the first time in this boost session, and at view milestones: 10, 30, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000.

• Rotation runs only when the Boosted block is in view and your tab is focused.
• Each tick replaces one slot (or two when many products are boosting). The replacement is chosen from the pool with the lowest impression count in the current boost session.
• An impression is counted once per product per page visit when it appears in a Boosted slot.

If your system prefers reduced motion, auto-rotation is disabled and the strip stays static for accessibility.

Products with an active boost are excluded from this list. We build up to 50 slots from merit anchors, a fairly rotated launch pool, and fill by combined score:

  Reserved for products with the strongest community proof (upvotes, comments, light boost history). Keeps the feed credible when many launches land the same week.

• Launch pool17 slots · fair rotation

  Products in the first 14 days after approval with visibility remaining. We prioritize those with fewer recent list impressions, then higher visibility.

  Community proof drives long-term rank and merit anchor placement.

• Launch visibility0–100 · decays daily

  Starts up to 100 on approval (scaled down when more than ~30 products approve per week). Decays ~15% per day unless you refuel by participating.

• Refuel (maker activity)+8 vote · +15 comment · +20 active day

  Vote on others, leave a meaningful comment, or qualify an active day (≥2 min tab time) to restore visibility on your in-window launches. Credits for votes/comments are unchanged.

• Past boosts×25 per historical boost

  Small long-term merit tie-breaker — not a live boost bonus.

Frequently asked questions

Does boost guarantee the #1 spot on Discover?

No. Boost guarantees inclusion in the Boosted strip (5 slots) and fair rotation with other active boosts. The Discover list below is separate and organic.

Why does rotation pause?

Rotation only runs when the Boosted section is at least half visible on your screen and the tab is active. If you scroll away or switch tabs, the timer pauses so impressions are not wasted.

Can two boosts show the same product twice?

No. A product in the Boosted strip is removed from the organic Discover list for that page load so it does not appear twice.

What if only one or two products are boosting?

The strip shows however many are active (up to 5). Rotation is disabled when the pool is 5 or smaller.

When do two slots change at once?

If more than 10 products are boosting at the same time, we replace two slots per rotation tick instead of one, so the pool cycles faster.

Why isn't my new product in Discover?

Only 50 products fit on the homepage. New launches enter a 14-day visibility window and the launch pool (17 fairly rotated slots). Support other makers (vote +2 credit, comment +5) to refuel visibility, or earn traction so you land in merit anchors.

What if many products launch the same week?

When weekly approvals exceed ~30, starting visibility scales down and decay speeds up slightly. Everyone stays in the launch rotation pool; merit anchors still protect products with real upvotes.
