Copi: Todos and Notes

v1.0, built with Next.js, Supabase, and React Native, was born out of frustration. I was constantly switching between apps like Notion for notes, Todoist for tasks, and various documents. None of them excelled in both note-taking and task management. Either the note-taking was good, but the task management was poor, or vice versa. I needed a simple, minimal, fast, and context-free solution. So, we built it.

We started with wireframes and basic features. We quickly captured thoughts, created tasks smoothly, and ensured fast syncing across devices. Initially, we kept everything local, but we backed it up with Supabase for syncing if you log in.

Tech-wise, the frontend is built with Next.js for the web, React Native for mobile, and shared logic with TRPC. The backend is powered by Supabase. Local storage uses mmkv for speed, with optional cloud sync.
